Characters
116 sixteen cranial and postcranial characters were coded corresponding to the data matrix of Longrich and Currie (2009) with modifications by Evans et al. (2013). Additional modifications include the addition of Boreonykus, deletion of the problematic Balaur bondoc and recoding of two characters for Microraptor (character 19:0 and character 20:1) following personal observations of the specimen recently described by Xing et al. (2013)
