Media notes
Character 2. I1 (root): radicular canals number: expressed double canals (0); weak double canals (1); single radicular canal (2). Remarks: Unordered. All ingroup species have two well developed, separated radicular canals of I1: the main canal and the second canal, which passes more ventral (Character 002: A,B). Some species display separate canals opening, i.e. separate apical foramina of the main and second canals (Character 002: B). Single investigated C. sapaensis have the separate foramina; S. murinis shows variation this state [character 3, see below]. The outgroup species have weak double canals with the short second canal (S. mirabilis and N. fodiens) (Character 002: C) and the single main canal (S. minutissimus) (Character 002: D). For details see S8.
